Safety Education

Would you know how to react in an emergency? Are you aware that you are more likely to perform life-saving first aid on a family member more than to a stranger? Prepare yourself for the unexpected by taking our safety classes. All classes are American Red Cross courses and are offered at various times during the year.

Sun Devil Fitness & Wellness is committed to providing advanced educational opportunities to the ASU community by offering nationally recognized certifications in CPR, First Aid and AED training. Participation in our certification classes can provide great professional development opportunities, encourage critical thinking, and instill the confidence to respond when emergencies happen.

Blended Learning

All classes are now offered in a Blended Learning format. In order to receive certification, class participants are required to complete online pre-class work through the American Red Cross and attend all in-person sessions.

Online content will be emailed to registered participants in the week leading up to the start date of the in-person sessions. If you have any questions about the content please contact Justin Kern at jkern@asu.edu or call 480-965-8924.

We offer private CPR/AED and First Aid classes at a reduced price for ASU affiliated departments, organizations and summer camps that fit your group's needs. You must have a group of at least 5 committed participants.

If you are interested in setting up a class, please fill out the Department and Private CPR Class Request form and you will be contacted by a representative from our team within 24 hours.
